{"id":5379,"date":"2020-05-07T19:02:03","date_gmt":"2020-05-07T19:02:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deprintplaatmonteur.nl\/?p=5379"},"modified":"2025-05-10T17:06:51","modified_gmt":"2025-05-10T17:06:51","slug":"electrolux-wasdroger-problemen-storing-foutcode-e50-e51-e52","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deprintplaatmonteur.nl\/en\/2020\/05\/07\/electrolux-wasdroger-problemen-storing-foutcode-e50-e51-e52\/","title":{"rendered":"ELECTROLUX WASH DRYER DISPLAYS ERROR CODE E50\/E51\/E52"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Problem description:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The machine stops before the laundry is dry. <\/li><li>The machine displays error code E50\/E51\/E52. <\/li><li>The drum doesn&#8217;t tumble\/turn anymore. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If this matches your situation, the PCB of your machine might be out of order. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dewitgoedmonteur.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/aeg-droger-reparatie.jpg\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.dewitgoedmonteur.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/aeg-droger-reparatie.jpg\" alt=\"droger reparatie E50 storing, motorsturing.\" class=\"wp-image-744\"\/><\/a><figcaption>Droger reparatie<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note, making a correct diagnosis can be difficult!<br>\nThe use of a multimeter is required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>First we need to know what the error code E50\/E51\/E52 means.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To check which malfunction it is exactly in your case, we must start the dryer&#8217;s diagnosis system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Switch off the machine.<\/li><li>Press and hold the start button and the button to the left of the start button.<\/li><li>Hold it down and set the selector switch to position 1 until the lights start to run. Release the buttons.<\/li><li>Then turn the selector switch clockwise to position 10.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dewitgoedmonteur.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Test-programma-aeg.jpg\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.dewitgoedmonteur.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Test-programma-aeg.jpg\" alt=\"Test programma aeg\" class=\"wp-image-1446\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The error code appears in the display to indicate the exact problem that occurs with your machine.<br>\nWith the button to the left of the start button you can scroll through the latest error messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>No display?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your machine does not have a display, count it each time the start button light flashes in red for the 1st digit of the error code.<br>\nThen count the number of times that the start button light flashes orange for the 2nd digit of the fault code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example:<br>Red flashes 5x and orange 2x. Set the meter to the correct position as shown in the photo below.<br>Connect the test probes to the capacitor and you can read the values \u200b\u200bfrom the meter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the capacitor is broken, the meter will read a lower reading than that on the capacitor. Replace the capacitor and test the machine again. These can be ordered in the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" aria-label=\" (opent in een nieuwe tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/hetwitgoedonderdeel.nl\/product-categorie\/wasdroger-onderdelen\/\" target=\"_blank\">webshop<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The values \u200b\u200bof a capacitor are expressed in Farad. In this case, the values \u200b\u200bare 6.17 micro Farad, which we write as 6.17 \u00b5F.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dewitgoedmonteur.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/IMG_5691-1.jpg\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.dewitgoedmonteur.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/IMG_5691-1.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_5691\" class=\"wp-image-1467\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We now know that the capacitor, the motor and the wiring are good so the problem must be in the circuit board. Remove the circuit board as described below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 4<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Double-check if the machine is realy out of order<\/strong><br>Before you signup for repair, first double-check whether your machine realy has a defect. Remove the top from the machine by unscrewing 2 or 3 screws on the back of the top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dewitgoedmonteur.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Aeg-wadroger-reparatie.jpg\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.dewitgoedmonteur.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Aeg-wadroger-reparatie.jpg\" alt=\"Aeg wadroger reparatie\" class=\"wp-image-1181\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Unscrew 4 screws on the top left and right of the control panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dewitgoedmonteur.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Electrolux-wasdroger-doet-niets-meer..jpg\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.dewitgoedmonteur.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Electrolux-wasdroger-doet-niets-meer..jpg\" alt=\"Electrolux wasdroger doet niets meer.\" class=\"wp-image-1183\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Pull the entire control panel forward and snap the metal bracket away from the plastic.
